C Winter Festival in Manali and Ice Skating Festival in Shimla
In December, Shimla and Manali are the venues for the Ice Skating Festival. Various activities like ice skating, ice hockey and dance performances are held. Come February, Manali shakes of its winter hibernation for the winter carnival. Many winter sports and competitions are held during the festival.
Learn with us this discipline that is a form of rock climbing performed on small rock formations (or artificial rock walls) without the use of ropes or harnesses.
For beginners, the Solang Valley, offers ideal ski conditions with introductory slopes and ski lifts. We can organise ski packages to meet your requirements with trained instructors, all the required gear and stay. The basic course trains you to ski down gentle slopes. For moderate skiers/snowboarders, we drive up on four wheel drive jeeps and also provide guides and porters.
There are number of sites for rock climbing with slabs, overhangs and wall in and around Manali like Aleo, Shuru and Kothi for beginners as well as advanced climbers. Rapelling can also be done in these areas and doesn’t require any prior experience. We’ll provide the instructors and equipment, just bring your enthusiasm!
