Parashar Lake

Located in Mandi district this trek follows a relatively easy trail through forests and little rivers. Its perfect for family groups with option to camp overnight. The trek offers a 180 degree view of the Dhauladhar, Pir Panjal and Kinnaur mountain ranges. The beautiful temple devoted to sage Parashar and the mysterious floating island on the lake are added attractions.

Bijli Mahadev

Steeped in mythology and magical stories, the Bijli Mahadev temple at the top of the mountain, is a must-see. Travel by a car from Manali to Kinja. Start the trek from here. It is a 4 kms moderate trek from here upto Bijli Mahadev. Alternatively, if you’d like to make this a 3-day trek, walk from Naggar to Jana. Camp overnight and continue on to Bijli Mahadev.

Jogini Falls – Manali

Start the hike from Manali or drive across the main bridge to Vashisht village. Walk uphill through the village and climb for about an hour to reach these cascading falls. Take a dip in the waterfall and enjoy the view all around. On the way back to Manali, relax for awhile in the mineral hot springs at Vashisht and return home warmed up to your bones!
